Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson fails to land the takedown.
Eriksson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Eriksson is looking to clinch.
Eriksson shoots for a takedown but Salnik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Salnik shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eriksson pinned against the cage. Eriksson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Johnny Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitri Salnik.
Horrible takedown by Salnik or perhaps it was just good defense by Eriksson which made him look bad.
Salnik shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eriksson is trying to defend but Salnik finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Eriksson is trying to escape back to his feet but Salnik uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Eriksson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eriksson tries to get out of the position.
Salnik lands a decent elbow from side control.
Salnik has an Americana. Eriksson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Salnik is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Salnik hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A less than humble Dmitri Salnik misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
