Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boris Badenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Jones struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boris Badenov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nate Jones!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badenov dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Badenov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Badenov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Badenov trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones looks winded!
Badenov wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.

Badenov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Badenov has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Boris Badenov just wasn't active enough.
Badenov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Badenov finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Boris Badenov wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Jones is looking for a triangle but Badenov pushes his legs off easily.
Badenov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Badenov lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Jones falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
