Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mack Wiatrzyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gator Bait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gator Bait will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiatrzyk gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wiatrzyk could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bait accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gator Bait hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Wiatrzyk is looking to clinch but Bait is avoiding it.
Wiatrzyk shoots in and bounces Bait off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Wiatrzyk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bait is proving hard to escape from.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

and Bait counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wiatrzyk won't be happy with that.
Bait wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wiatrzyk keeps working.
Bait remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Bait laying and praying for a moment but Wiatrzyk takes advantage and regains half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bait shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bait is keen to just control but Wiatrzyk is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gator Bait dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bait throws a leg kick but Wiatrzyk sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bait takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bait takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bait misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wiatrzyk tries to clinch
and Bait makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bait dives in and scores a takedown into Wiatrzyk's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bait is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gator Bait was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bait throws a sloppy head kick and Wiatrzyk moves out of range easily.

and Bait counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wiatrzyk!

Wiatrzyk tries to improve position but can't.
Bait trying to control the position but Wiatrzyk is working away.
Wiatrzyk avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bait.
Wiatrzyk is looking for a sweep.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wiatrzyk bucks up and tries to throw Bait off but instead Bait has got his back!
Bait lands punches and elbows.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bait keeps control of the position as Wiatrzyk tries to break free.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Bait. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Bait is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Wiatrzyk up.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Bait controlling the positon.
Bait landing with strikes.
Bait is working the ground and pound. Can Wiatrzyk escape?

Bait lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Wiatrzyk.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

You can see the frustration on Wiatrzyk's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Gator Bait showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bait takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bait fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wiatrzyk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wiatrzyk looks for a takedown but Bait sprawls well.
Wiatrzyk is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bait.

Bait sizes up Wiatrzyk with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bait lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Oh Wiatrzyk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bait wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wiatrzyk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bait closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wiatrzyk! Bait dives in looking to finish! Wiatrzyk is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
