The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues lands with a nice combination. Terry backs away looking to recover.
Severino Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Terry finds it's target.
It looks like Severino Rodrigues has been cut.
A slow jab from Terry misses its intended target.
Rodrigues is looking to score with low kicks.

Rodrigues looks to land a right hand but Terry moved out of range.
Rodrigues throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Johnny Terry has been cut.
Rodrigues throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rodrigues misses with a double jab
and Terry counters with a straight right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Terry counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Severino Rodrigues's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Terry throws a shot to the body.
Terry thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rodrigues wants to land a leg kick but Terry is out of range.

Rodrigues takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Terry cracks Rodrigues with a right hand to the side of the head.
Rodrigues takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rodrigues is breathing heavily.
Rodrigues misses with a straight left.
Terry lands a nice hook to Rodrigues's body. Rodrigues takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rodrigues misses with a leg kick.
Rodrigues scores with a kick to the body.
Terry tries to score with a low kick but Rodrigues moves his leg out of the way.
Terry checks a low kick from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Terry checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Terry lands a nice shot to the body.
Rodrigues pivots, looking for a leg kick but Terry is out of range and Rodrigues settles back down.
Terry lands a slapping body shot.
Rodrigues uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Terry.
Terry scores with a sloppy right hand. Rodrigues should have avoided that one.
Jeez, Severino Rodrigues's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
A combination from Rodrigues does no damage.

Terry drops Rodrigues with a beautiful combination! Rodrigues stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Terry is looking for the KO!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Severino Rodrigues's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Johnny Terry decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
