Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pegg Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dawid Rafal!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost tries to close the distance and clinch but Rafal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rafal misses with a lunging right hand
and Frost counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Frost thows a body shot but no joy.
Rafal comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rafal throws a leg kick
and Frost counters with a head kick.
Jab, jab by Rafal - just one landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slow jab from Rafal misses its intended target.
Frost fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rafal is out of range.
Rafal circles away from the clinch attempt.

Frost drives through and clinches with Rafal against the cage.
Rafal tries to break free but Frost pushes him back against the cage.
Frost avoids a wild elbow strike from Rafal.
Frost scores a nice knee to the body.
Rafal has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rafal is trying to break the clinch but Frost is controlling him.
Rafal is trying to break the clinch but Frost has him pressed against the cage.
Frost tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rafal avoids it.
Frost lands an elbow inside.

Frost with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Rafal breaks the clinch.

Frost moves into the clinch.

Rafal breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frost throws a sloppy head kick and Rafal moves out of range easily.
Frost wants to clinch up but Rafal keeps it at a distance.
Frost fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rafal throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Frost tries to close the distance and clinch but Rafal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Frost wants to clinch up but Rafal keeps it at a distance.
Frost bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rafal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Frost ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Frost clinches with his opponent.
Rafal looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Frost tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rafal avoids it.
Frost creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rafal's defenses.
Frost lands an elbow just above Rafal 's eye.
Rafal is trying to break the clinch but Frost has him pressed against the cage.
Frost with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Rafal wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rafal looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Rafal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Frost tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rafal paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rafal takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Frost wants to clinch.
Rafal misses with an uppercut. Frost saw that one coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frost fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rafal.

Frost has closed the distance and engaged Rafal in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Frost scores with a nice short uppercut.
Frost keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rafal's efforts to push away.
Frost is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rafal is defending well for now.
Rafal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rafal looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Frost softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Frost lands a good knee to the midsection. Rafal won't want to take too many of those.
Frost lands a nice elbow.
Frost tries a knee to the head but Rafal blocks it.
Frost putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Rafal in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Rafal looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Frost using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rafal has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Frost lands a nice elbow.
Rafal is leaning against Frost and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Frost with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Rafal is still on wobbly legs! Can Frost finish him?
Frost has Rafal pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Rafal is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Frost - that's hurt Rafal badly! Oh, another knee lands and Rafal is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Rafal doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Pegg Frost!
During a confident post fight interview, Pegg Frost thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
