Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Inti Raimi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Inti Raimi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Campos!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raimi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Campos.

Campos tries to break the clinch but Raimi is controlling the position.
Raimi is looking to take this one to the mat.
Raimi drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Raimi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Campos pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Inti Raimi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Campos misses with a low kick as Raimi jumps back.

Raimi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Campos's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Campos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Raimi's guard.
Campos looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Raimi has control of Campos's left arm, preventing Campos from doing any damage.
Campos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Raimi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raimi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Raimi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Raimi throws a sloppy head kick and Campos moves out of range easily.
Raimi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Raimi.


It looks like Lucas Campos has been cut.
Raimi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Campos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raimi as he avoids it easily.
Campos leaves Raimi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Inti Raimi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raimi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Campos blocks a head kick by Raimi.
Campos misses with a two punch combination.
Raimi throws a nice looking combination but Campos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Raimi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Raimi tries a head kick but it misses.
Campos takes one on the button.
Campos throws a head kick but Raimi moves out of range.
Campos checks the leg kick nicely there.
Raimi goes for a double leg but Campos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Campos continues to drive forward.
Raimi wants to take the fight to the mat but Campos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Campos is trying to force a seperation but Raimi has the dominant position.
Campos prevents the takedown attempt.

Raimi jumps guard and drags Campos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Raimi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Campos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Campos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Raimi holds on and takes a little breather.
Campos looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Raimi pulls Campos in close to prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Raimi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Raimi tries to bum rush Campos with a series of wild strikes but Campos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sloppy strikes from Raimi. Those never looked like landing.

Raimi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Raimi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Campos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The strikes coming from Raimi are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Raimi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Campos tries to bench press Raimi off him but Raimi keeps the position.

Raimi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Campos, who protects the arm well.

Campos is looking to reverse the position.
Campos defending against the ground and pound.
Campos tries to buck Raimi off but Raimi is having none of it.
Raimi is chipping away with strikes.
Campos takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Campos wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Raimi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Raimi is working Campos over with some ground and pound from side control.


The cut above Lucas Campos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Raimi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Campos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Raimi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Campos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Campos on the wrong end of some ground and pound.


Lucas Campos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lucas Campos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Inti Raimi!
