Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Heihachi Michima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dougie Inglis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michima comes to the cage accompanied by Chris Cornell - You know my name. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Dougie Inglis enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Heihachi Michima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michima misses with a series of wild punches.
Michima displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Inglis throws out the jab. Inglis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Excellent takedown into side control there by Inglis. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Michima is trying to get back to his feet. Michima is trying to get back to half guard. Michima pushes Inglis away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Inglis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Michima regains half guard. Michima is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Michima works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michima had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Inglis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Michima Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Inglis's back instead. Michima is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Michima is breathing heavily. Inglis tries to escape the position.
Michima is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Inglis defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Michima not allowing Inglis to control his hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inglis tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Inglis working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Michima working for a submission but Inglis is keeping him at bay. Inglis is desperately trying to improve his position but Michima has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inglis wants to try and get back to his feet. Inglis is in all sorts of trouble here.
Michima get's back to his feet. Inglis tries to clinch up. Michima rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Inglis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Inglis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Michima to the mat! Michima manages to get full guard. Michima looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Inglis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Michima to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Inglis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Michima pulls down on the head and he's put Inglis to sleep! This one is all over!
