Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josef Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson has chosen Blind Eye Halo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jaeger throws a sloppy head kick and Peterson moves out of range easily.
Josef Jaeger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaeger tries to clinch up but Peterson circles away and keeps his distance.
Peterson 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jaeger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Peterson scrambles back to his feet.
Peterson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jaeger has time to react.

Peterson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jaeger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Peterson looks to land a left hand but Jaeger moved out of range nicely.
Peterson throws a lazy right hand but Jaeger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jaeger jabs Peterson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Peterson needs to keep his hands up - Jaeger had a free shot at his head there.
Peterson catches Jaeger with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Peterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jaeger manages to avoid it.
Jaeger closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Peterson 's guard.

Peterson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jaeger has picked Peterson up and slammed him! Peterson can't keep hold of the triangle and Jaeger manages to pass to side control!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jaeger is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Jaeger gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jaeger gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jaeger apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Jaeger lands a nice hook to Peterson 's body. Peterson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jaeger shoots for a double leg takedown but Peterson sprawls well. He's pushed Jaeger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
