The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabald swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Lyles to counter with a crisp jab.
Kabald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kabald throws an overhand right that lands on Lyles's shoulder, as Lyles tries to avoid the shot.
A head kick misses from Lyles.
Kabald tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lyles counters with a big head kick but Kabald shrugs it off.


Kabald is rocked!
Kabald closes the distance but Lyles moves to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lyles scoring well with a low kick there.
Lyles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kabald.
Lyles misses with a two punch combination.
Kabald doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lyles counters with a lovely shot to the body.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Daniel Kabald hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Kabald shoots for a double leg takedown but Lyles sprawls well. He's pushed Kabald's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eric Lyles will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Lyles counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Lyles looks at the referee who does nothing so Lyles lands a crushing right that sends Kabald to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
