Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rusty DZG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KENTA Kobajashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusty DZG has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rusty DZG! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, KENTA Kobajashi! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DZG swats away the attempt to clinch by Kobajashi. DZG shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kobajashi as he jumps to the side. DZG gets a clinch. Kobajashi has had enough of the clinch but DZG keeps him there for the moment. DZG tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kobajashi just stands there and leans against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. DZG is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty DZG. That's going to take a lot out of him. DZG pulls guard successfully.
DZG wants to stand but Kobajashi is controlling the position. Kobajashi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kobajashi looking to pass the guard. DZG throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kobajashi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kobajashi stuffs the takedown. DZG shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kobajashi as he jumps to the side. DZG changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kobajashi tries to avoid it but DZG manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kobajashi to the ground. Kobajashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. DZG closes the distance and clinches up with Kobajashi, looking for a takedown. DZG pushes Kobajashi against the cage but Kobajashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kobajashi tries to clinch but fails miserably and DZG counters with a thumping low kick. DZG is breathing heavily. DZG changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kobajashi tries to avoid it but DZG manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kobajashi to the ground. Kobajashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. DZG looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kobajashi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kobajashi fails in his attempt to clinch. DZG tries to close the distance and clinch but Kobajashi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kobajashi clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kobajashi has had enough of the clinch but DZG keeps him there for the moment. Kobajashi creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Kobajashi prevents the takedown attempt.
The is referee keeping an eye on Kobajashi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

DZG tries to score a body lock takedown but Kobajashi shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kobajashi is looking to break free of the clinch but DZG has double underhooks. Kobajashi wants to get back to striking at distance but DZG won't allow it.
DZG escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
DZG looks for a takedown but Kobajashi sprawls well. DZG doesn't manage to clinch there - Kobajashi circles away.
DZG Rushes Kobajashi and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Kobajashi is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. DZG Piles on the pressure and Kobajashi crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rusty DZG!
