Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Captain Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey ONeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kid might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to lukenback texas. Mickey ONeil has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Captain Kid's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeil lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kid scores with a kick to the body.
A slow jab from Kid misses its intended target.
ONeil tries to land a body kick
and Kid finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
ONeil just misses with a punch to the body.
Mickey ONeil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kid swings and misses with a hook to the body.
ONeil takes a swing at Kid's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Kid does it's job there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
ONeil lands a leg kick that knocks Kid off balance momentarily.
Kid lands a lovely overhand right.
Kid looks for a takedown but ONeil sprawls well.
ONeil throws a sloppy head kick and Kid moves out of range easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kid. ONeil does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mickey ONeil is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kid misses with a body kick.
ONeil misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
ONeil lands a head kick. Kid smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Captain Kid has been cut.
ONeil pulls out of a head kick attempt.
ONeil throws a lazy uppercut
and Kid counters with a body kick.
ONeil misses with a hook
and Kid makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. ONeil really felt that one!
ONeil looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kid connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between ONeil's hands.
Kid fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kid throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Kid. That snapped ONeil's head back.
Kid has a takedown stuffed.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kid.

Kid lands a big uppercut and ONeil crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but ONeil looks OK. Kid waves ONeil back to his feet!

It looks like Mickey ONeil has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Kid has knocked ONeil down with a huge combo! Kid steps away and waves a wobbly ONeil back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

ONeil is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from ONeil. Kid does a little dance to reset his feet.
ONeil is still on wobbly legs! Can Kid finish him?
Kid misses with a hook. ONeil ducked under it nicely.
ONeil seems to have recovered his senses.
ONeil wants to stay close but Kid steps back to make room for something. ONeil seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Kid and ONeil drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Captain Kid decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
