Fring's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Frogacult - No rush. King has chosen VAMPIRE as his entrance music. Jermain King has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jermain King!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fring, pushing him back against the cage.
King lands an elbow inside that Fring shrugs off.

It looks like Gustavo Fring has been cut.
Fring wants a takedown.
A knee to the head by King.
King is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
King looks to throw an elbow but misses.
King throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fring drops to a knee looking for a takedown but King gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fring has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. King avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gustavo Fring. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fring turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fring manages to end up in side control.
King is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
King wants to control but Fring postures up.
Sloppy strikes there by Fring.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fring is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. King knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
An elbow from Fring crashes against the mat.

Fring is trying to get an arm triangle but King is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Check out the look on Fring's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Fring tries to score with some ground and pound. King controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

King is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fring's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Fring! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and King has tapped! This one is allllll over!
