Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braun Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braun Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Braun Silva!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen thows a body shot but no joy.
Silva misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Allen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Allen throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Allen!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Silva trying to control the action but Allen is working from the bottom.
Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen prevents Silva from improving position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Braun Silva was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Allen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Silva falls off balance throwing a combination
and Allen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Allen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Braun Silva has been cut.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Allen was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Allen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
Allen slips under a jab from Silva.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oooooh!!! Allen has knocked Silva down with a huge combo! Allen steps away and waves a wobbly Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Silva is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Allen counters with a left to the body.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Allen finish him?
Silva looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Allen lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Silva up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Allen from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Silva's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kevin Allen!
