Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeo Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Denton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeshi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Deadly Melody. The key to victory for Takeo Takeshi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Takeshi wants to clinch.
Denton tries a head kick but it misses.
Takeshi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Denton works Takeshi's body with a nice hook.
Denton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Denton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Takeshi tries to clinch there but Denton circles away.
Denton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Denton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Denton misses with a body shot.
Takeshi scores with a jab to the body.
Takeshi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No joy there for Takeshi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takeshi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick misses from Denton.

Takeshi moves into the clinch.

Takeshi breaks the clinch.
Takeshi wants to clinch up but Denton keeps it at a distance.
Denton lands a front kick.
Takeshi connects with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Denton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Takeshi keeps the fight on the outside.
Takeshi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Denton looks winded!
Takeshi tries to land a front kick but Denton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Takeshi scores with a kick to the body.
Takeshi throws a series of strikes that have Denton backpedaling.

Denton is rocked!
Takeshi closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Denton out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Takeo Takeshi!
