Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DooRag McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee has chosen Lay Low - Snoop and Nate Dogg as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer forces McGee back against the cage and clinches. Archer lands a right hand that snaps the head of McGee backwards. McGee tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Archer's elbow. McGee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
McGee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Archer after a bit of a struggle. Archer is trying to break the clinch but McGee has him pressed against the cage. Archer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Sterling Archer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DooRag McGee.
McGee gets control of Archer's arms and successfully pulls guard. McGee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Archer stays in close to McGee's body and controls the position. Archer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Archer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McGee is proving hard to escape from.
Archer stands and steps away. McGee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
McGee shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Archer is trying to defend but McGee finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Archer gets full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McGee won't allow Archer to get back to his feet. Archer keeping moving, preventing McGee from controlling successfully. Archer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Archer tries to get out of the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. McGee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Archer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Archer is looking to stand up but McGee isn't so interested in that idea.

 DooRag McGee has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. McGee is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McGee shoots in and drives through. Archer sprawls well. Archer misses with an uppercut. McGee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Archer to score with a decent uppercut. McGee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Archer swats away the attempt to clinch by McGee. McGee fails with a takedown attempt. McGee fails to land the takedown. McGee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McGee fails to land with a series of punches.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. McGee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Archer walks away with a smile on his face. McGee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. McGee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Archer's waist but Archer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McGee off to one side. Sterling Archer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Archer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Archer misses with a combination
and McGee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Archer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGee moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McGee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McGee closes the distance and clinches up with Archer, looking for a takedown. McGee pushes Archer against the cage but Archer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Archer throws out a powerful jab. A head kick by McGee misses and Archer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Archer throws a series of strikes that have McGee backpedaling.
Archer connects with a body shot. A left and a right from Archer both land. Nice combination. This has been an exciting period of action! McGee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Archer defends it nicely. McGee looks winded! Archer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Archer stuffs the takedown. Archer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McGee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Archer looks to land a combination but McGee avoids it well. Archer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. McGee avoids the body shot from Archer.
Archer cracks McGee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. McGee shoots in but no luck this time. McGee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Archer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Archer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGee circles away quickly and effectively. McGee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Archer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Archer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. McGee is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Archer pulls him back up using the underhooks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Archer pressing his opponent against the cage. Sterling Archer dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

McGee decides to pull guard. Archer looking to pass the guard. Archer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGee on the ground. Archer trying to stand up but can't free himself from McGee's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGee looking to control.

Archer got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Archer has managed to get both his arms back between McGee's legs - danger averted. Archer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
McGee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Archer wants to pass the guard but McGee is keeping the position. Archer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Sterling Archer just wasn't active enough. McGee has a takedown stuffed. Sterling Archer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DooRag McGee.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Archer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Archer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McGee. That did some damage! Archer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McGee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGee shoots for a double leg takedown but Archer sprawls well. He's pushed McGee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. McGee is breathing heavily.

McGee is working for takedown but Archer is calmly controlling the position for now. McGee is trying to maintain a safe position but Archer gets an underhook and turns McGee into the cage.

Sterling Archer is winning the standup battle so far. Archer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGee manages to avoid it. Archer scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Archer darts in and clinches McGee up against the cage. Archer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McGee has him pressed against the cage. Archer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McGees head.
Archer manages to break the clinch.
A jab from Archer misses. Archer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Archer.

McGee turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Archer tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but McGee presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Archer tries to buck McGee off but he can't manage it. McGee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Archer throwing hammer fists to the chest of McGee. What's that going to do exactly?
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Archer looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Archer tries to roll but McGee sticks to his back.
McGee tries to keep control of the position but Archer is staying busy.

McGee tries to get the hooks in deep but Archer pushed the leg off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Even with his hooks in, McGee manages to miss with strikes from the back. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Sterling Archer dominated that second round. That's time! Archer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Archer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. McGee is trying to drag Archer to the mat but Archer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Archer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. McGee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McGee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Archer throws a body punch but McGee moves out of range. McGee scores with a hook. McGee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. McGee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Archer.
Archer thuds a left hand into McGee's body. McGee misses with a looping left. Archer connects with a right hand. McGee shakes it off. Archer with a jab. McGee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Archer sprawls well. Archer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGee gets slowly back to his feet. Sterling Archer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DooRag McGee.

McGee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McGee wants to clinch and Archer counters with a straight right hand. McGee tries to clinch up. McGee digs a good body shot into Archer's ribs. Archer looks to land a combination. McGee sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Archer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Archer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McGee. McGee shoots in for a double leg but Archer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A shot to the body from McGee misses enabling Archer to counter with a crisp jab. Archer throws a combination. McGee tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Archer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGee manages to avoid it. McGee has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Archer connects with a body shot.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice takedown defense from Archer. No joy for McGee on that attempt. McGee is looking to clinch but Archer is avoiding it.
McGee checks a low kick from Archer. Archer connects with a body shot. McGee fails with a takedown attempt. Archer throws a nice looking combination but McGee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. DooRag McGee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Archer tries to bum rush McGee with a series of wild strikes but McGee uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McGee drops his hands momentarily and Archer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Archer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A punch combination from Archer misses. Archer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McGee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Archer sprawls well. Archer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGee gets slowly back to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Archer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Archer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. McGee shoots for a double leg takedown but Archer sprawls well. He's pushed McGee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. DooRag McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGee misses with a right hand and Archer counters with a one-two to the body. Archer swinging wildly here.
McGee on the wrong end of a nice hook. McGee ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Archer with a jab. McGee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Archer as he jumps to the side. Sterling Archer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Archer throws a front kick aimed at McGee's knee but McGee avoids it well.

McGee moves forwards but Archer connects with a nice, crisp jab. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Archer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. McGee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Donk. Archer catches McGee right on the button with a cross. McGee throws out a powerful jab. McGee slips a jab and a cross from Archer.
McGee tries to close the distance and clinch but Archer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McGee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Archer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Archer with a body punch. A glancing blow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McGee misses with a two punch combination.

Archer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Sterling Archer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Archer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
