Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Seamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideki Ryou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hideki Ryou struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hideki Ryou! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Ryou. Those never looked like landing. Ryou looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Seamon, right into the meat.
Ryou tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seamon was well out of range. Poor timing from Ryou. Ryou throws a right hand that Seamon ducks under and follows up with a left that Seamon also avoids with ease. Seamon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Seamon shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryou tries to sprawl out of it but Seamon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryou manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ryou pushes Seamon up against the cage in a clinch. Seamon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ryou fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Seamon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Seamon is looking to clinch. Ryou misses with a looping left. Seamon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seamon clinches with his opponent.
Ryou prevents the takedown attempt.
Seamon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Seamon shoots in and drives through. Ryou sprawls well. Seamon lands a head kick!
Ryou falls off balance throwing a combination
and Seamon counters with a head kick that drops Ryou to the mat! Ryou scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Ryou is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Seamon closes the distance and pushes Ryou back into the cage. Ryou is still on wobbly legs! Can Seamon finish him? Seamon prevents Ryou from breaking the clinch. Seamon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ryou avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Seamon has Ryou pressed against the cage. He pushes Ryou back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Seamon throws a beautiful elbow that sends Ryou crashing to the floor! Seamon piles on the pressure with more strikes! Ryou is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Seamon!
