Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Trussell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Manel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis Trussell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roger Manel's chin.

Nice sprawl there from Manel as Trussell shoots in.

Manel wants to control from the top but Trussell keeps moving.

Trussell looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Manel has picked Trussell up and slammed him! Trussell can't keep hold of the triangle and Manel manages to pass to side control!

Horrible takedown by Trussell or perhaps it was just good defense by Manel which made him look bad.

That was a close round but I would say that Dennis Trussell will probably get the nod.

Trussell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trussell somewhat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Manel shoots in looking for a takedown. Trussell tries to sprawl out of it but Manel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trussell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Manel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Trussell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Manel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Manel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Trussell slaps away a takedown attempt from Manel, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Manel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Manel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Manel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Trussell's head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Manel in particular looking to stall.
Manel is working for a submission of some sort.
Manel seems to be working for a kimura but Trussell defends the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dennis Trussell.
Well Trussell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
