Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Pearmine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paris has chosen Delta Heavy - Must Be The Feeling as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Pearmine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Theo Paris!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris shoots for a takedown but Pearmine saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Paris looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pearmine!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Paris in side control lands a decent elbow.
Check out the look on Paris's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pearmine is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Paris has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Pearmine manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Pearmine tries to stand but can't do so whilst Paris controls his leg.
Paris makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Paris.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Paris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Paris looking for a guillotine here but Pearmine defends easily.
Pearmine wants to stand but Paris has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Paris looking for subs off his back but Pearmine has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Paris manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Pearmine tries to clinch there but Paris circles away.
Paris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pearmine walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Paris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Paris is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pearmine's half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paris is trying to control the action in half guard but Pearmine is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Pearmine is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Paris pulls his head out easily.

Paris is trying to work for a kimura but Pearmine is defending well.
Pearmine pushes Paris off looking to stand but Paris dives back in and keeps control.
Paris slips a nice elbow through Pearmine's hands, connecting with Pearmine's forehead.

Pearmine is refusing to be controlled, as Paris sits in half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Paris wants to free his trapped foot but Pearmine is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Paris is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pearmine has managed to free his arm - good work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paris trying to mount his opponent but Pearmine defends it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Paris in particular looking to stall.
Pearmine is trying to stand back up but Paris is controlling him
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Paris lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Theo Paris dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Paris fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pearmine cracks Paris with an open hand slap.
Paris tries for a takedown but Pearmine sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Paris doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pearmine counters with a series of strikes. Paris will be more careful next time no doubt.
Tim Pearmine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Theo Paris.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Paris.
Paris grinds an elbow into Pearmine's temple.
Pearmine is trying to get back to his feet.

Paris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pearmine is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Paris is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pearmine takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Paris scoring with punches and elbows.
Paris works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Paris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pearmine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Paris is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pearmine looks calm but he's in trouble here. Paris gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pearmine is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Paris lets go of the hold and Pearmine can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Theo Paris!
Theo Paris seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
