Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ignas Kriksciunas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claude Renzler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kriksciunas comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the name. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ignas Kriksciunas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Claude Renzler!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renzler scores with a sloppy right hand. Kriksciunas should have avoided that one.
Renzler tries to clinch

and Kriksciunas moves into the clinch.
Kriksciunas managing to block the knees to the body from Renzler.
Renzler is trying to maintain a safe position but Kriksciunas gets an underhook and turns Renzler into the cage.
Renzler changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kriksciunas fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Renzler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Renzler.
Ignas Kriksciunas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Claude Renzler.
Kriksciunas pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kriksciunas closes the distance and pushes Renzler back into the cage.

Kriksciunas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Renzler clinches up with Kriksciunas and pushes him back against the cage.
Renzler lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Kriksciunas breaks from the clinch.
Renzler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Renzler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kriksciunas defends it nicely.

Renzler closes the distance and clinches.

Renzler has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kriksciunas uses from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Renzler is trying to control the position but Kriksciunas postures up.
Kriksciunas content to stall in guard here.

Kriksciunas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Renzler's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kriksciunas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kriksciunas is looking to advance position but Renzler won't allow it.

Kriksciunas is working hard here to advance position.
Kriksciunas wants to control but Renzler is keeping him busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ignas Kriksciunas wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kriksciunas tries to clinch but Renzler moves out of range.
Renzler cracks a nice hook into Kriksciunas's ribs.
Kriksciunas doesn't manage to clinch there - Renzler circles away.
Renzler shoots in but Kriksciunas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Renzler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kriksciunas is fending him off so far but Renzler persists. Nope, Kriksciunas circles away and we're back to standing.
Renzler throws a right hand that Kriksciunas ducks under and follows up with a left that Kriksciunas also avoids with ease.
Kriksciunas tries for a takedown but Renzler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kriksciunas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Renzler was covering up waiting for the punch and Kriksciunas finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kriksciunas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Renzler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ignas Kriksciunas dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Renzler rushes Kriksciunas and presses him up against the cage.
Renzler lands an elbow that stopped Kriksciunas in his tracks for a moment.
Renzler tries for a takedown. No joy.
Renzler tries to land knees in the clinch but Kriksciunas avoids the damage to the body.

Renzler with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Renzler lands a nice elbow.

Kriksciunas drags the fight down to the ground.
Kriksciunas preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Renzler is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Renzler trying to control the position from guard on top but Kriksciunas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kriksciunas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Renzler!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kriksciunas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Renzler is trying to escape the mount.
Kriksciunas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Renzler is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Kriksciunas has taken his back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kriksciunas's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Kriksciunas controlling well, preventing Renzler from escaping the position.

Kriksciunas is working for a rear naked choke. Renzler is not defending it well and Kriksciunas has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Renzler refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Renzler's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ignas Kriksciunas!
During a confident post fight interview, Ignas Kriksciunas thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
