Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Houston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Eisenbeis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Houston comes to the cage accompanied by Here Comes the Pain. The key to victory for Mike Houston has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Houston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Eisenbeis! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eisenbeis tries to avoid it but Houston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eisenbeis to the ground. Eisenbeis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A combination from Eisenbeis does no damage. Eisenbeis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Houston.
Houston drops Eisenbeis with a beautiful combination! Eisenbeis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Houston is looking for the KO!
It looks like Kyle Eisenbeis has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Houston moves in looking to clinch but Eisenbeis pushes him off. Houston gets in close and instigates a clinch. Eisenbeis prevents a body shot from Houston. Eisenbeis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Houston is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Houston is pulling down on Eisenbeis's head. It's preventing any offense from Eisenbeis, at least for the moment. Eisenbeis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Eisenbeis. Houston tries to close the distance and clinch but Eisenbeis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Houston tries to clinch but Eisenbeis moves out of range. Eisenbeis moves into the clinch successfully.

Houston is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. The referee is keeping an eye on Eisenbeis - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eisenbeis prevents a body shot from Houston. Houston keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Eisenbeis's efforts to push away. Houston scores with a nice hook to the head. Houston breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Houston moves in looking to clinch but Eisenbeis pushes him off. Houston throws a nice looking combination but Eisenbeis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Eisenbeis moves into range and clinches up with Houston. Houston lands with a short head shot on the inside. Houston lands on the inside with an uppercut. Houston scores with an uppercut up the middle. Eisenbeis manages to pull guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Houston tries to free his leg and advance position but Eisenbeis is retaining full guard. Houston is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eisenbeis pulls Houston in to control the position. Eisenbeis throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Houston postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Eisenbeis has momentary wrist control but Houston slips an elbow through the middle. Houston is fighting to break Eisenbeis's control of his arms but Eisenbeis is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Eisenbeis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Houston knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eisenbeis on the ground.
Kyle Eisenbeis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A shot to the liver by Houston. Beautiful body shot. Eisenbeis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Houston.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Houston lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Eisenbeis backwards. Nice body punch from Houston. This has been an exciting period of action! Houston taking a breather. Houston gets through Eisenbeis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Eisenbeis jumps guard but Houston stands there with Eisenbeis around his waist. Eisenbeis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mike Houston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Eisenbeis. Houston trying to control the position but instead, Eisenbeis has worked for underhooks and has pushed Houston into the cage. Eisenbeis is stalling here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Houston presses Eisenbeis against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Houston dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kyle Eisenbeis's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Houston fails in his attempt to clinch. Eisenbeis pushes Houston up against the cage in a clinch. Houston working hard to break the clinch. Houston lands with a short head shot on the inside. Houston lands a hook to the side of the head. Eisenbeis is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Eisenbeis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Houston lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Eisenbeis wants a takedown but no success here.
Eisenbeis tries to land knees in the clinch but Houston avoids the damage to the body. Houston blocks a body shot from Eisenbeis. Eisenbeis prevents Houston from breaking the clinch. Houston lands with a short shot to the head. Houston scores with a nice hook to the head. Eisenbeis tries to work over Houston's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houston gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Eisenbeis.
Nice body punch from Houston. Mike Houston has scored more points in the clinch so far. Eisenbeis wants a takedown.
Mike Houston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Eisenbeis. Houston lands a hook that snaps the head of Eisenbeis backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Houston. Eisenbeis is breathing heavily. A short body shot lands from Houston as the two fighters clinch.
Houston lands a left hand.
Eisenbeis jumps guard but Houston turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Houston working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Houston breaks from the clinch.
Houston dances in with a quick combination. Eisenbeis is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Houston snaps Eisenbeis's head back. Eisenbeis stumbles backwards against the cage. Houston steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Eisenbeis's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Eisenbeis just didn't come prepared.

After the fight, Mike Houston was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
