Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Steel's choice of entrance music: Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonard Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Steel!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Steel.
Steel moves forwards but Lewis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Steel throws a low kick but Lewis moves out of range easily.
Steel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lewis connects with a solid leg kick.
Lewis catches Steel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Lewis is just out of range.
Steel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis lands a really nice looking cross but Steel seems unphased.

Max Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Steel misses with a low kick.
Lewis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Steel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Steel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lewis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Steel looks for the body kick but Lewis saw that one coming.
Lewis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Steel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Steel throws the left hand but Lewis avoids the punch easily.
Good leg kick by Steel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lewis lands a leg kick that knocks Steel off balance momentarily.
Lewis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
