Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Vengrio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Ragnaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vengrio comes to the cage accompanied by Muay Thai. Ragnaar has chosen Mustasch - Into The Arena as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Ragnaar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

It looks like Arthur Vengrio has been cut.

letting Ragnaar counter with a right hand.
Ragnaar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ragnaar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vengrio sprawling to the canvas! Vengrio rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ragnaar finish him?!
Vengrio is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ragnaar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vengrio gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Vengrio looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ragnaar lands a right hand from hell, dropping Vengrio. Ragnaar pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erik Ragnaar!
A relieved looking Erik Ragnaar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
