Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Snead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Storms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snead comes to the cage accompanied by Trinidad James - All Gold Everything. Storms is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stratovarius - Stratofortress. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Storms looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Storms is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Snead to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Snead shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Storms wants to control the pace but Snead is squirming around nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Snead misses with a two punch combination.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Storms. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Snead throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Storms counters with a nice double leg into side control. Snead won't be happy with that.

Storms takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Storms looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

In his post fight interview, Jake Storms started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
