Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Farooq Al Jawad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Jawad comes to the cage accompanied by Syrian National Anthem. Sebastian Drago looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Farooq Al Jawad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sebastian Drago! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Al Jawad takes the fight into the clinch. Al Jawad lands an elbow inside. Al Jawad stalling.
Al Jawad scores with an uppercut up the middle. Al Jawad is pushing Drago up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Al Jawad seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Al Jawad drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Al Jawad keeping moving, preventing Drago from controlling successfully. Drago stops Al Jawad from standing up. Al Jawad throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Al Jawad manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Jawad lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Drago hang on? Drago is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Al Jawad lands a heavy elbow. Drago is in all sorts of trouble here.
Al Jawad knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drago on the ground. Al Jawad throws some wild stikes that Drago manages to avoid easily.
Al Jawad unloads with some shots from mount but Drago bucks and avoids them well.
Drago wants to hold on but Al Jawad pushes him away. Al Jawad looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Drago doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Drago bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Al Jawad wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Drago manages to pass to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Jawad is looking to escape. Al Jawad is looking to control Drago's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Al Jawad avoid being mounted? Al Jawad is breathing heavily. Al Jawad is not content to let Drago control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago is looking for a kimura but Al Jawad is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drago to get the leverage. Al Jawad kicks off Drago and gets to his feet. Al Jawad tries to clinch up but Drago circles away and keeps his distance. Al Jawad wants to clinch but Drago slips to the side and Drago holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Drago tries to break free but Al Jawad pushes him back against the cage. Al Jawad lands an elbow inside that Drago shrugs off. Drago tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Al Jawad just stands there and leans against the cage. Al Jawad misses with an elbow over the top. Al Jawad lands a left hand that snaps the head of Drago backwards. Drago jumps guard but Al Jawad turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Al Jawad breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Al Jawad rushes Drago and presses him up against the cage. Drago jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Al Jawad walks away with a smile on his face. Drago gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Farooq Al Jawad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Drago. Al Jawad tries to clinch up but Drago circles away and keeps his distance. Al Jawad moves into range and clinches up with Drago. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Al Jawad lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Al Jawad working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Al Jawad gets control of Drago's arms and successfully pulls guard. Al Jawad will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Al Jawad throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Al Jawad looking for a sweep. Not yet Al Jawad, not yet. Drago drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drago jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drago preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Farooq Al Jawad dominated that round. That's time! Al Jawad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Al Jawad swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Al Jawad fails in his attempt to clinch. Al Jawad tries to clinch up. Drago keeps the fight on the outside. Drago doesn't manage to clinch there - Al Jawad circles away.
Drago shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Farooq Al Jawad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Al Jawad moves into range and clinches up with Drago. A left hand lands to the body for Al Jawad.
Al Jawad lands a hook to the side of the head. Drago tries to pull guard but Al Jawad forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Al Jawad is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Drago is breathing heavily. Al Jawad lands with a right to the head. Al Jawad is struggling to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Al Jawad lands a right hand that snaps the head of Drago backwards. Al Jawad on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Al Jawad connects with a knee to the head.
Al Jawad lands a left hand that snaps the head of Drago backwards. Al Jawad slows down the pace here.
Drago tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Al Jawad smiles and moves away.
Farooq Al Jawad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Drago. Al Jawad has closed the distance and engaged Drago in a clinch.
Al Jawad manages to pull guard.
Al Jawad wants to stand but Drago is controlling the position. Al Jawad on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Al Jawad tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Jawad is striking but Drago is not phased and passes to half guard. Drago is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Al Jawad gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Al Jawad is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Drago wants to pass the guard but Al Jawad is keeping the position. Al Jawad can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Drago controls the pace. Al Jawad wants to get back to his feet but Drago is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Al Jawad wants to control the position but Drago says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Al Jawad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Drago stops Al Jawad from getting back to his feet.
Drago looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Al Jawad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Al Jawad wants to get back to his feet.
Al Jawad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Farooq Al Jawad dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Al Jawad closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Al Jawad. Drago tries to break free but Al Jawad pushes him back against the cage. Drago tries to pull guard but Al Jawad holds him up against the cage and eventually Drago drops back down to his feet.
Drago can't get the takedown.
Al Jawad slows down the pace here.
Drago has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Al Jawad avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Farooq Al Jawad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Drago. Drago pulls guard successfully.
Al Jawad will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Al Jawad stands up and waves to Drago to follow him. The fight stays on the outside here - Al Jawad looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Drago takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Drago uses from the top position. Al Jawad wants to sweep here but Drago controlling him for the moment.

Drago is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Al Jawad is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
