PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paddy Putting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clinton Solidum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Clinton Solidum was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putting throws a body kick that misses.
Solidum throws a body punch but Putting moves out of range.
Putting scores with a body shot.
Putting scores with a jab.
Putting listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Putting works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Putting throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Solidum.
Solidum jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Putting thuds a left hand into Solidum's body.
A left lands for Putting.
Putting throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Solidum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Putting was covering up waiting for the punch and Solidum finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Solidum seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Putting throws a push kick but Solidum slaps the foot to one side.
Putting connects with a body shot.
Good exchange - Putting coming out on top.

Solidum clinches with his opponent.
Solidum drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Putting gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Putting has clasped his hands together around Solidum's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
