Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Omielanczuk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Storm Silver! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omielanczuk tries a head kick but it misses.
Omielanczuk throws a head kick that Silver semi-blocks.
Omielanczuk is looking to clinch. Silver misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Silver closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Omielanczuk quickly recovers to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Omielanczuk is defending against the submission attempts here by Silver.
Silver is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Omielanczuk sees it coming and defends easily. Silver is trying to control. Omielanczuk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Silver wants to pass to mount but Omielanczuk is defending the position. Silver is working for a kimura but Omielanczuk is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silver is working for a submission of some sort.
Silver is keen to just control but Omielanczuk is a slippery customer. Omielanczuk regains full guard. Nicely done. Silver drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Omielanczuk manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silver has Omielanczuk in his guard. Silver keeping moving, preventing Omielanczuk from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Omielanczuk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Omielanczuk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Omielanczuk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Omielanczuk postures up.
Silver working for a triangle but Omielanczuk defends it easily.
Omielanczuk passes easily into side control. Nice work. Omielanczuk has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Silver is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Omielanczuk working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Omielanczuk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silver knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Omielanczuk is looking to take a break and control but Silver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silver tries to improve position but can't. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silver wants to control but Omielanczuk postures up. Silver manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Omielanczuk will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Omielanczuk tries to clinch up but Silver circles away and keeps his distance. Omielanczuk lands a big head kick that sends Silver tumbling to the mat! Omielanczuk takes a step backwards and waves Silver back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Storm Silver has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Omielanczuk throws a monster overhand right that drops Silver! Omielanczuk follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
