The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Green misses with an uppercut
and Ruzic counters with an inside leg kick.
Ruzic throws a leg kick which misses Green's front leg but catches the back leg as Green tries to avoid it.
Ruzic tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Green is able to avoid easily.
Ruzic misses with a looping left.
Ruzic swings for the body but Green moves out of range.
Green misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ruzic.
Green has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Green tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ruzic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ruzic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Some bone on bone action there as Green checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ruzic scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Green connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Green cracks Ruzic with an open hand slap.
Ruzic connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ruzic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Green counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Green gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ruzic to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ruzic stops Green from standing up.

Green can't keep his opponent in guard - Ruzic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ruzic seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Green is trying to stand up here but Ruzic is controlling him well.

Ruzic tries to free his leg and advance position but Green is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruzic throws a strike but Green rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Green is sitting in close to Ruzic's body. Ruzic has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Green is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Green is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ruzic.
