Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralfus Presting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is Here. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Reggie Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Ralfus Presting! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Presting slips under a jab from Anderson. Presting shoots and misses and Anderson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Ralfus Presting has been cut. Presting looks to clinch and Anderson counters with a good, hard body kick but Presting shrugs it off. Anderson misses with a straight left. Presting closes this distance looking for a takedown but Anderson circles away. Presting clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage. Anderson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Anderson tries to work over Presting's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A short right from Anderson. Presting tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Anderson avoids it. Anderson scores with a shoulder strike. Presting misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Anderson.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Presting moves to clinch but Anderson breaks away and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Presting darts in and clinches Anderson up against the cage. Presting landing knees to the body.

Presting throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Presting shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anderson but Anderson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Presting misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Presting looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Anderson is concentrating on defense, preventing Presting from advancing position. Anderson trying to control here.

Presting wants to free his trapped foot but Anderson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Anderson gets back to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Presting trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anderson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Presting told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Presting trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson trying to control the position.

Reggie Anderson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ralfus Presting's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Presting tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anderson swivels and escapes. Presting fails with a takedown attempt. Presting is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Anderson's half guard. Presting is looking to stall here but Anderson recovers full guard. Anderson pulls Presting in close to his closed guard and prevents Presting from doing any damage or advancing position. Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Presting is one step ahead there. Presting drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Anderson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Presting has Anderson in his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Anderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Presting had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anderson defends it easily. Presting is trying to keep Anderson in close.
Presting is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Presting uses his free foot to push down on Anderson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Anderson. Anderson tries to hold on but Presting postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Presting tries to control but Anderson wriggling away. Presting misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Anderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Anderson lands a couple of elbows. Presting is trying to control the position but Anderson postures up. That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson wants to control from the top but Presting keeps moving. Presting isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Anderson stacks Presting on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Anderson! Anderson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Anderson trying to control the position but Presting is working away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson in side control lands a decent elbow. Anderson trying to control the action but Presting is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ralfus Presting will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Ralfus Presting's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Anderson sneaks back into half guard.

Presting wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson seems keen to control Presting's posture. Presting is pushing down on Anderson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Anderson is fighting to maintain full guard but Presting has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Presting wants to take a breather but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson is controlling Presting's trapped leg to prevent Presting from advancing to side control. Anderson wants to control but Presting is keeping busy and won't allow it. Anderson moves into full guard.
Presting wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson is pulling down on Presting's head. It's preventing any offense from Presting, at least for the moment. Anderson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Presting gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Anderson counters with a straight right hand. Reggie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralfus Presting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Presting shoots and misses and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Presting tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anderson swivels and escapes. Anderson works over Presting's head and body with a nice combination. Anderson misses with a body kick. A telegraphed right hand from Anderson misses the target. Presting moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet. Presting takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Anderson gets caught napping as Presting dives in and scores a takedown. Anderson manages to retain guard. Presting tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderson is retaining full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anderson has control of Presting's left arm, preventing Presting from doing any damage. Presting trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Presting dives in and grabs Anderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes down on Presting's head and hops out. A head kick misses from Anderson. Anderson stuffs the takedown. Anderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Presting drives through with a takedown into Anderson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson trying to control the position here. Presting postures up in Anderson's guard and throws a big left but Anderson blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Reggie Anderson. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
