PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tesea Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Johnson is looking for a sweep. Penn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn moves into full mount! Johnson won't be happy about that! Johnson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Penn locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Johnson is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jay Penn! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Jay Penn made sure he mentioned xXx Clothing (Nothing Over $20), along with how happy he was to win his fight.
