Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Courchesne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachary Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Courchesne comes into the arena with Lux Aeterna By Clint Mansell blaring out of the sound system. Mendoza has chosen Back For More as his entrance music. Jonathan Courchesne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Courchesne thumps Mendoza with a low kick.
Mendoza checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Courchesne shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Courchesne trying to control the action but Mendoza is working from the bottom.
Courchesne missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Courchesne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Courchesne landing strikes from the mount and Mendoza is in trouble!
Mendoza is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Courchesne tries to control but Mendoza wriggling away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Courchesne lands a nice shot to the head.
Mendoza tries to lock up and control but Courchesne gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Courchesne unloads with some shots from mount but Mendoza bucks and avoids them well.
Courchesne lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Courchesne cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mendoza is rocked!
Courchesne scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Mendoza is still in real trouble! Can Courchesne finish him?
Courchesne postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Mendoza badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Courchesne around the waist but Courchesne pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Courchesne is the winner by TKO! Courchesne jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
