Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anti Borsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Asiniho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ronaldo Asiniho!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borsh shoots in looking for a takedown. Asiniho tries to sprawl out of it but Borsh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Asiniho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Borsh shoots in but no luck this time.

Asiniho shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Asiniho was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Asiniho tries to advance to mount but Borsh instead regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Asiniho closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Borsh wants to control but Asiniho postures up.

Asiniho throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Borsh to regain full guard.

Borsh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Asiniho defends well.

Borsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Asiniho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Borsh.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Borsh enables Asiniho to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Borsh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Asiniho throws a strike but Borsh rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ronaldo Asiniho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Borsh lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Borsh is looking to clinch.
Asiniho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Borsh swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Borsh lands a head kick. Asiniho smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Asiniho counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Borsh's guard now.
Asiniho is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Asiniho trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Asiniho slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ronaldo Asiniho wasn't active enough on the ground.

Asiniho closes the distance and clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Asiniho gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Asiniho postures up in Borsh's guard and throws a big left but Borsh blocks it.

Borsh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Asiniho is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Borsh has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Asiniho has passed into side control.
Asiniho controls the position from side control.

Asiniho creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Borsh sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Asiniho has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Asiniho is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Borsh will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
