Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vili Puuskanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irvin Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Welch comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Iggy Pop - Lust for life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welch leaves Puuskanen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Welch makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Welch lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A short right from Welch.
Puuskanen jumps guard but Welch stands there with Puuskanen around his waist. Puuskanen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Puuskanen fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vili Puuskanen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Puuskanen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Welch just stands there and leans against the cage.
Welch lands a left hand that snaps the head of Puuskanen backwards.
Puuskanen jumps guard but Welch stands there with Puuskanen around his waist. Puuskanen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Puuskanen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Welch lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Puuskanen is rocked!

Oh Puuskanen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Welch has Puuskanen pressed against the cage. Puuskanen drops his hands and Welch takes advantage by unloading with a massive hook that sends Puuskanen tumbling to the canvas! Welch rains down with more punches but Puuskanen was already out! That's a highlight reel knockout for Welch!
