Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Alan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! James Alan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Glen Danzig's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Alan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Danzig! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Danzig scores with the left hand. Alan knows he should have avoided that one. Alan doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Danzig counter with a right hand. Alan shoots in for a takedown but Danzig shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Good exchange - Danzig coming out on top. Danzig lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Alan tries to clinch but Danzig moves away and Alan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alan fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Alan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Danzig counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Danzig has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Danzig scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Alan doesn't seem bothered though. Danzig lands with a good body shot. Danzig scores with a nice head shot. Danzig shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alan eats them both and turns towards Danzig to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Danzig counters with a three punch combo that has Alan backing up. Alan nods at Danzig to acknowledge the strikes. Danzig shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alan eats them both and turns towards Danzig to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. A left and a right from Danzig both land. Nice combination. Danzig feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alan sprawling to the canvas! Alan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Danzig finish him?!
Alan is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alan misses with a takedown and Danzig counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Alan to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Danzig!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Glen Danzig! Glen Danzig decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
