The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. William pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
William stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and William wants it to stay on the feet.
William throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and moves out of range.

William shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
