Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Strozyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The chain gang of 1974 - Sleepwalking. Trevor Phillips told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damien Strozyk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trevor Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips tries to clinch up but Strozyk circles away and keeps his distance.
Strozyk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Phillips on the side of the head.
It looks like Trevor Phillips has been cut.
Strozyk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Strozyk tries to clinch but Phillips moves out of range.
Phillips gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Phillips clinches with his opponent.
Phillips is struggling to control the position.
Phillips gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Strozyk is looking to control Phillips's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Strozyk avoid being mounted?
Strozyk missing with punches from the bottom.
Phillips is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strozyk is just riding it out for now. Phillips eventually gives up the hold.
Phillips passes to full mount!

Phillips throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Strozyk's coaches at WarZone Training Facility 2 have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Strozyk is working to get back to half guard.
Strozyk tries to hold on but Phillips pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Phillips swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Strozyk is now in Phillips's guard. A big mistake from Phillips there, giving up the dominant position!
Phillips preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Phillips wants to sweep here but Strozyk controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Phillips controls Strozyk momentarily but Strozyk frees himself.
Phillips is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Strozyk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Strozyk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Phillips is proving hard to escape from.

Phillips controls Strozyk momentarily but Strozyk frees himself.
Phillips looking to hit a scissor sweep but Strozyk is one step ahead there.
Strozyk works over Phillips with some ground and pound from guard.
Strozyk with a flurry of punches that miss.
Strozyk postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Strozyk's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Strozyk working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Phillips's head.
Strozyk throws a big elbow that misses.
Strozyk throwing strikes but missing.
Strozyk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Phillips trying to keep a closed guard but Strozyk is proving a slippery customer.
Phillips is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Strozyk is controlling him.

Strozyk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Phillips works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Strozyk postures up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Strozyk stands up over Phillips, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Strozyk stands up from Phillips's guard - Strozyk perhaps looking for a knockout.
Strozyk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Phillips pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Strozyk clinches up with Phillips and pushes him back against the cage.
Phillips lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Strozyk tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Phillips prevents Strozyk from improving his position.
Strozyk is defending against the submission attempts here by Phillips.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Strozyk dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A jab-cross combination lands for Strozyk and sends Phillips crashing to the mat! Strozyk follows him down to the mat - Phillips regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Phillips is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strozyk is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Phillips is hurt! He's hurt bad - Strozyk fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Phillips from any more punishment! Congratulations to Strozyk! Great finish!

A relieved looking Damien Strozyk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
