Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rubicon Brandy!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandy cracks the inside of Lee's front leg.
Brandy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brandy lands a front kick.
Lee throws a hook to the side of Brandy's head but Brandy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brandy moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Brandy avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee tries to work over Brandy's front leg with a kick but Brandy checks it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brandy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Nice body kick from Lee.
Lee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brandy on the side of the head.
Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandy takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Rubicon Brandy has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A low kick from Lee misses
and Brandy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
Brandy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Brandy in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Lee is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rubicon Brandy!
A relieved looking Rubicon Brandy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
