Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Saputo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saputo comes to the cage accompanied by The Milk Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Saputo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Stone! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saputo lands with a shot to the body. Stone swings widly with a right hand
and Saputo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stone throws an off balance right hand
and Saputo counters with a stiff right hand. Saputo just misses with a punch to the body.
Stone misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Saputo counter with a right hand. Stone misses with a wild body shot. Saputo punishes Stone's body with a nice straight punch. We've been told by Saputo's head coaches at Team Listerman that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Saputo misses with an uppercut. Stone takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Saputo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Saputo scores with a decent looking hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saputo scores with a nice strike. Stone closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Stone walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Stone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saputo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stone has Saputo up against the cage in a clinch.
Saputo scores with an uppercut up the middle. Stone throws a punch but it's blocked by Saputo. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Saputo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A frustrated look appears on Saputo's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stone wants to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saputo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Saputo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Stone misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stone has a couple of punches blocked by Saputo.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice body punch from Stone. Stone keeps control of Saputo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stone's coach down at WarZone Training Facility 1 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Saputo blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Stone lands a shoulder strike. Saputo displaying some good clinch control by pressing Stone up against the cage. Stone tries to work over Saputo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saputo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stone lands with a cross. Stone misses with a straight left. Saputo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Saputo tries to land a leg kick but Stone saw it coming and moves away.
Saputo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone misses with a left hand and Saputo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stone thinking. Saputo connects with a body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone misses with a right hand and Saputo counters with a left to the body. Saputo with a hook. Stone gets a clinch. Stone looks to throw an elbow but misses. Saputo cracks Stone with a nice body shot. Stone is looking to control Saputo's arms but Saputo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stone has his back to the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Saputo. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A head punch blocked on the inside by Saputo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saputo breaks the clinch.
Saputo lands with a good body shot. A jab lands there for Saputo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Saputo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Saputo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stone throws a big shot that misses. Stone blocks a leg kick. A swing and a miss from Stone. Saputo scores with a jab to the jaw. Stone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saputo lands with a straight right. Stone didn't see that one coming. Stone gets a takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Saputo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stone. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saputo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stone. Stone is trying to control the action in half guard but Saputo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stone keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Stone throwing shots but Saputo is blocking nicely. Saputo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saputo tries to get out of the position. Stone throwing shots but Saputo is blocking nicely. Stone seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stone trying to control the action but Saputo is working from the bottom. Stone is trying to work for a kimura but Saputo is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saputo keeps working. Saputo is looking to escape. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone is working for a kimura but Saputo is defending it quite comfortably.
Saputo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stone. Saputo wants to get back to full guard. Stone trying to control the action but Saputo is working from the bottom. Stone wants to pass to mount but Saputo is defending the position. Saputo is trying to maintain the position but Stone is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Stone trying to work for an americana but Saputo has managed to regain full guard.
Stone is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Stone is looking to work some ground and pound but Saputo has wrist control. Saputo looking for a sweep. Not yet Saputo, not yet. Stone stays in close to Saputo's body and controls the position. Stone cracks Saputo with a solid left hand. Saputo is trying to keep Stone in close.
Stone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stone working some strikes from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone scoring with punches to the head and body. Stone wants to control from the top but Saputo keeps moving. Stone is working Saputo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stone content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Saputo trying to control the position here. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Saputo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Saputo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stone scoring with some ground and pound. Stone working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Saputo's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stone wants to control from the top but Saputo keeps moving. Stone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Stone throws the left hand but Saputo avoids the punch easily. Stone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stone takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Saputo finds it's way round the side to connect with Stone's head. Saputo misses with an uppercut. Saputo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stone stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Stone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stone misses with an uppercut. Saputo misses the shot to the body. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Saputo checks a leg kick. A slow jab from Stone misses its intended target. Saputo moves out of range of the strikes. Saputo digs a good hook to Stone's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saputo scores with a jab to the body. An inside leg kick from Stone misses. Saputo scores with a decent looking hook. Stone misses with a looping right. A telegraphed right hand from Stone misses the target. Stone misses with a lunging right hand
letting Saputo counter with a right hand. Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Saputo pinned against the cage. Saputo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saputo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saputo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fighters circling - Stone throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Saputo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stone's head. Stone takes a body punch but keeps moving. Stone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Saputo as he avoids it easily. Mike Saputo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Saputo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mike Saputo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Stone. Stone takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone looks to land a combination but Saputo avoids it well. Saputo's corner calls for a 1-2. Saputo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Stone with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Saputo to score with a decent uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saputo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stone throws a jab but it's blocked by Saputo. Saputo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Saputo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Saputo scores with a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Saputo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Saputo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
