Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vega Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Sagat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Jonathan Jones has been cut.
Sagat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Jones tries to score with a low kick but Sagat moves his leg out of the way.

Sagat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sagat swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sagat throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones throws a front kick aimed at Sagat's knee but Sagat avoids it well.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.
Sagat swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sagat doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sagat managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.
Sagat prevents a takedown attempt there.

Sagat tries to stall but Jones uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sagat has a couple of punches blocked by Jones.

A nice right hand lands inside from Sagat.

Sagat struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.
Sagat misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sagat tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sagat is working Jones over against the cage.
Jones is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sagat blocks an elbow strike.
Sagat goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jones creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Sagat pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sagat lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Sagat prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sagat lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sagat gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sagat gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Sagat lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sagat after a bit of a struggle.

Sagat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sagat throws a monster overhand right that drops Jones! Sagat follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
