Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Showtime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Rampage as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a takedown
and Showtime counters with a nice uppercut.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Showtime tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Showtime to the ground. Showtime escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Showtime counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Showtime looking to finish!

Jackson is rocked!
Anthony Showtime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Jackson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Showtime is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Showtime is one step ahead there.
Showtime trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Showtime knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Anthony Showtime just wasn't active enough.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Showtime sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jackson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Showtime is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jackson.

and Showtime counters with a head kick that drops Jackson - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.
Jackson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Showtime's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Showtime's back!
Showtime looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Showtime tries to break free.
Showtime is working hard here to advance position.

Jackson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Showtime has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Jackson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Showtime taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Jackson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
