The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Martin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Martin goes for a double leg but Gomez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gomez continues to drive forward.
Martin is trying to break the clinch but Gomez is controlling him.

Gomez keeps control of Martin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Good leg kick by Gomez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gomez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martin tries to avoid it but Gomez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martin to the ground. Martin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
