Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prankster Dreamwork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dreamwork misses the shot to the body. Jim Sutton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sutton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dreamwork on the side of the head.
It looks like Prankster Dreamwork has been cut. Dreamwork takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sutton looks to land a left hand but Dreamwork moved out of range nicely. Sutton gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dreamwork tries to score a body lock takedown but Sutton shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sutton is trying to trip Dreamwork. He has hold of a leg but Dreamwork is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sutton persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Dreamwork is looking to stand up but Sutton isn't so interested in that idea. This has been an exciting period of action! Dreamwork working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sutton. Sutton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dreamwork swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sutton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sutton throws a big elbow that misses. Sutton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dreamwork looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sutton is one step ahead there. Sutton throws a big elbow that misses. Dreamwork wants to sweep but no luck. Sutton wants to get up but he can't break Dreamwork's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dreamwork preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sutton throws a big elbow that misses. Sutton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dreamwork changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sutton tries to avoid it but Dreamwork manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sutton to the ground. Sutton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dreamwork looks winded! Sutton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sutton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dreamwork on the ground. Sutton decides to stand back up. Sutton steps back and let's Dreamwork get back to his feet. A nice combination there by Sutton.
Sutton lands with a cross. Sutton drives through with a takedown into Dreamwork's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sutton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sutton gets to his feet. Dreamwork looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutton shoots in and gets a takedown into Dreamwork's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sutton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sutton stands up from Dreamwork's guard - Sutton perhaps looking for a knockout. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sutton dips to his left and cracks Dreamwork with an uppercut! Dreamwork uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sutton.
Sutton darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Nice cross by Sutton. Dreamwork looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dreamwork is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sutton tries to bum rush Dreamwork with a series of wild strikes but Dreamwork uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dreamwork closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Sutton gets a takedown into half guard. Sutton missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dreamwork trying to control but Sutton postures up.
Sutton wants to take a breather but Dreamwork is having none of it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sutton escapes and gets back to his feet. Sutton closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dreamwork quickly recovers to half guard. Sutton working over Dreamwork with some ground and pound. Dreamwork looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dreamwork keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Sutton dominated that round. The cut man is working on Prankster Dreamwork's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sutton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dreamwork can do to turn this around? Sutton avoids the head kick by Dreamwork.
Dreamwork defending well as Sutton loads up on a big left hand. Sutton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dreamwork circles away quickly and effectively. Dreamwork misses with a head kick.

Sutton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sutton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dreamwork's hands. Dreamwork throws a sloppy head kick and Sutton moves out of range easily. Dreamwork on the wrong end of a nice hook. Sutton lands with a nice body punch. Jim Sutton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sutton scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sutton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sutton thuds his right hand into Dreamwork's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Sutton works Dreamwork's body with a nice hook. Jim Sutton is winning the standup battle so far. Sutton with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sutton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sutton works the jab nicely. Sutton shoots in and bounces Dreamwork off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sutton wants to stand and escape but instead Dreamwork has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutton wants to stand but Dreamwork is controlling the position. Dreamwork passes Sutton's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sutton has one foot on Dreamwork's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Dreamwork tries to close the distance and clinch but Sutton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sutton lands a right hook to the body.
Dreamwork has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dreamwork there as he acknowledges the shot. A combination from Sutton does no damage. Sutton lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sutton thows a body shot but no joy. Dreamwork takes one to the chin there. Sutton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dreamwork manages to avoid it. "Ole!" shouts Sutton as he jumps to the side. Sutton misses with a few strikes there.

Sutton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sutton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sutton rushes Dreamwork and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dreamwork tries for a takedown but Sutton manages to get underhooks.
Sutton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dreamwork takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sutton lands a nice hook to Dreamwork's body. Dreamwork takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dreamwork has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. A combination from Sutton does no damage. Sutton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dreamwork circles away quickly and effectively. Dreamwork takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Good exchange - Sutton coming out on top. Sutton lands with an uppercut that bounces Dreamwork off the cage and back into range. Dreamwork shoots in for a double leg but Sutton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dreamwork shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sutton defends it nicely. Jim Sutton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Sutton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dreamwork doesn't seem bothered though. Sutton with a body punch. A glancing blow. This has been an exciting period of action! Sutton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dreamwork on the side of the head. A nice combination there by Sutton.
Sutton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dreamwork looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sutton looks to score with a jab to the body but Dreamwork is just out of range. Sutton scores with a takedown into Dreamwork's guard. Dreamwork not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sutton wants to stand but Dreamwork has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jim Sutton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dreamwork is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dreamwork shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sutton pinned against the cage. Sutton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sutton wants to get back to striking at distance but Dreamwork won't allow it.
Sutton working hard to break the clinch. Sutton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Sutton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dreamwork throws a sloppy head kick and Sutton moves out of range easily. Sutton digs a good hook to Dreamwork's body.
Sutton is looking to wear down Dreamwork with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sutton moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That has opened up Prankster Dreamwork's cut even more. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dreamwork takes one to the chin there.
And that's the end of the fight! Jim Sutton showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sutton has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
