PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystof Mckay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by Monster by Skillet. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Krystof Mckay enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krystof Mckay!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze throws a jab but it's blocked by Mckay.
Mckay throws the left hand but Blaze avoids the punch easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blaze.
Mckay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice defenses there by Blaze.
Mckay on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Blaze. Blaze obviously looking to wear him down.
Mckay throws a hook but Blaze blocks it.

Mckay shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blaze's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Mckay is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Blaze tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mckay looking to pass the guard.
Blaze not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blaze bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mckay's guard.

Blaze is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mckay has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Blaze is looking to defend but Mckay has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Blaze! Mckay pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Blaze taps out and this one is all over!

Krystof Mckay took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I'm glad for the opportunity tonight, my opponent fought hard but tonight I was the better man. I'm looking for a title shot soon, give me that belt baby.'.
