Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay Zol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abaddon has chosen Final Countdown... as his entrance music. The Abaddon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zol fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abaddon manages to avoid it.

Zol closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Abaddon did well to prevent Zol getting side control.

Zol wants to pass the guard but Abaddon is defending well.
Abaddon is trying to get back to full guard.
Abaddon wants to control but Zol is keeping busy.
Zol winds up and cracks Abaddon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zol connects with a nice short shot to Abaddon's temple.
Zol lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zol thows a huge punch but Abaddon dodges it nicely.

Abaddon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zol's guard.

Zol has his feet on Abaddon's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
