Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Butterworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Living in America. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Butterworth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Masters! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Butterworth manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Masters pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Butterworth sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Masters tries to clinch but fails miserably and Butterworth counters with a shoot takedown. Masters fights it but they end up in guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Butterworth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Masters swivels though and keeps the full guard. Masters looking for a sweep. Not yet Masters, not yet. Butterworth wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Butterworth controls from within his opponent's guard.
Jacob Butterworth has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Masters comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. That kick from Masters tenderised Butterworth's leg. Butterworth is trying to keep his angry face on. A left and a right from Masters both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Jacob Butterworth has been cut. Ken Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Butterworth takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Masters lands with a shot to the body. Masters displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Masters is looking to clinch but Butterworth is avoiding it.
Butterworth dives in and grabs Masters's left leg, looking for a takedown. Masters pushes down on Butterworth's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Masters fails with an attempt to clinch.
Butterworth dodges the punch combination from Masters.
Butterworth on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Masters. Masters obviously looking to wear him down.
Butterworth keeps the fight on the outside. Masters misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Butterworth fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Masters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Masters finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Masters cracks Butterworth with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Masters throws a right hand that Butterworth ducks under and follows up with a left that Butterworth also avoids with ease. Masters connects with a crisp jab. Butterworth takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Butterworth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Butterworth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Masters ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Butterworth closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Masters's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Butterworth wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving. Butterworth passes into half guard. Butterworth tries to pass to full mount but Masters defends it. Butterworth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Masters is just riding it out for now. Butterworth eventually gives up the hold. Masters is trying to stand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Butterworth thows a huge punch but Masters dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jacob Butterworth's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Masters pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Butterworth swats away the attempt to clinch by Masters. Butterworth blocks a head kick by Masters.
Masters fails with an attempt to clinch.
Masters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Butterworth. That did some damage! Butterworth avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Masters misses with the combination.
Masters tries to clinch up but Butterworth circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Butterworth's calf. Butterworth scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Masters is trying to maintain the position but Butterworth is very close to passing his half guard. Butterworth is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Masters is defending against the submission attempts here by Butterworth.
Butterworth is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Masters sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butterworth is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Butterworth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Butterworth is thwarting Masters's attempts to control the position. Butterworth thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butterworth is keen to just control but Masters is a slippery customer. Masters pushes Butterworth off looking to stand but Butterworth dives back in and keeps control.
Butterworth passes to full mount! Masters is squirming around, avoiding Butterworth's attempts to control the action. Butterworth throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Masters because Butterworth loaded up on that one. Butterworth manages to capitalize on a mistake by Masters to take his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Butterworth working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Masters is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Butterworth has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Masters taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jacob Butterworth!
