Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrej Kavelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krimson Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kush has chosen Clint Mansell - Requiem for a dream (Remix) as his entrance music. Andrej Kavelin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Krimson Kush's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrej Kavelin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Krimson Kush! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kush connects with an inside leg kick. Kavelin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kavelin throws out a leg kick but Kush moves out of range and Kavelin only half commits. Crunch! Kush slams his shin into Kavelin's torso. Kavelin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kush. Kavelin tries a head kick but it misses.
Kush paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good shot there by Kavelin. Kavelin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kush throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kavelin clinches up against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kush has Kavelin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kush pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kavelin tumbling to the mat - Kush dives into Kavelin's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kush is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kavelin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kush puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kush missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kavelin is not content to let Kush control the position. Kavelin wants to get back to full guard. Kush perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kush is trying to control. Kavelin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kavelin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kush throwing shots but Kavelin is blocking nicely. Kush winds up and cracks Kavelin with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kush throwing shots but Kavelin is blocking nicely. Kush is trying to control. Kavelin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kavelin is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kush jumps into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kavelin struggling a bit here. Kavelin is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Kavelin is looking for a sweep. Kavelin is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kavelin can't do much from the bottom here. Kush trying to control the action but Kavelin is working from the bottom. Kush scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kavelin to see if he's OK. Kush misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kavelin dodges the ground and pound from Kush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kavelin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kush scoring with punches and elbows. Kush trying to control the position but Kavelin is working away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kush working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kush looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kavelin wants to control but Kush postures up. Kavelin is looking to reverse the position. Kush moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kavelin is trying to control Kush's posture but Kush avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kush misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kavelin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kush lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kavelin down.
Kavelin is looking for a sweep. Kush trying to control the action but Kavelin is working from the bottom. Kush scores with punches from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kavelin tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Krimson Kush dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kavelin lands a high kick!
Kavelin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kush to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kavelin is rocked! Kush loads up on a big left hand. Kavelin felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kush looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kavelin can't hide his disappointment, as Kush celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krimson Kush! A relieved looking Krimson Kush thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
