Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dean Martin - LITTLE OLD WINE DRINKER ME . Tony Jaa had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Jaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Martin!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Martin.
Martin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jaa lands with a good body shot.
Jaa tries to clinch there but Martin circles away.

Martin gets tackled into the cage by Jaa. Jaa maintains the clinch.
Jaa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jaa tries a knee to the head but Martin blocks it.
A bit of stalling here from Martin.
Martin misses with a hook from the clinch.

Martin successfully pulls guard.
Martin has control of Jaa's left arm, preventing Jaa from doing any damage.
Martin has a closed guard, preventing Jaa from standing up.
Martin is trying to control the position but Jaa postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Martin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jaa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaa wants to get up but he can't break Martin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Martin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jaa doesn't seem bothered though.
Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Jaa.
Jaa finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Martin clinches up against the cage.

Jaa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Martin scores with a shot to the body.
Jaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martin just misses with a punch to the body.

Jaa clinches with his opponent.

Martin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jaa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Martin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jaa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Martin blocks the body kick.
Martin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jaa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tony Jaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martin throws a chopping leg kick but Jaa manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Martin looks to throw the jab but Jaa is out of range.

Jaa clinches up with Martin and pushes him back against the cage.
Jaa is struggling to control the position.
Our sources have told us that Jaa has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Martin looks to throw the jab but Jaa is out of range.
Martin tried to score with a low kick but Jaa checks it.
Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Jaa.

Martin looks to score with a jab to the body but Jaa is just out of range.
Jaa stalks Martin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Martin's face. Martin staggers backwards, shaken.

Martin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jaa.
Jaa doesn't manage to clinch there - Martin circles away.
Jaa goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Martin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jaa is trying to stand up here but Martin is controlling him well.

Jaa manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Martin moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jaa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Martin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jaa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jaa throws a looping overhand right but Martin ducks down to avoid it.
Martin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jaa slips a straight right by Martin.
Tony Jaa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martin shoots for a takedown but Jaa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Martin tests Jaa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A combination from Jaa does no damage.
Martin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jaa.
Jaa swats away the attempt to clinch by Martin.
Jaa checks a leg kick nicely.
Jaa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Martin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Martin looks to land a strike but Jaa avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Jaa is looking to stand up but Martin isn't so interested in that idea.
Martin wants to control from the top but Jaa keeps moving.
