PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Henry Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cake - I will survive. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Julius Jenkins enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hopkins's sensitive parts.
Jenkins throws a head kick but Hopkins moves out of range.
Hopkins tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hopkins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jenkins lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jenkins throws a combination. Hopkins tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Hopkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jenkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hopkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jenkins sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Hopkins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jenkins connects with a leg kick. Hopkins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Jenkins lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Hopkins goes down! The ref sends Jenkins to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Hopkins is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
