Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Martin! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hammer controlling the action here. Hammer wants to pass to mount but Martin is defending the position. Still in half guard, Hammer seems content to control. Hammer trying to mount his opponent but Martin defends it. Martin looking for submissions off his back. Hammer not doing much here.
Martin moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer stands and steps away. Martin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hammer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martin, pushing him back against the cage. Martin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Martin tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hammer takes a knee to the side of the body. Martin lands a knee to the body.
Hammer is breathing heavily. Knees to the body from Martin.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hammer has clasped his hands together around Martin's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Martin is trying to buck Hammer off. Martin tries to bench press Hammer off him but Hammer keeps the position. Martin manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammer stops Martin from getting back to his feet.
Martin is trying to control but can't.
Martin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hammer pulls his head out easily. Martin actively working from the bottom here. Martin is looking for a sweep. Hammer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hammer controlling the pace. Hammer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martin on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Martin moves into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hammer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Anthony Hammer. Hammer drives through with a takedown into guard. Martin looking for a triangle here. Hammer is fighting it but it looks tight! Martin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hammer is tapping out - this one is all over!
