The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durden gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Naama tries to free his leg and advance position but Durden is retaining full guard. Naama drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Naama jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Naama tries to free his leg and advance position but Durden is retaining full guard. Durden is looking for a triangle here but Naama uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Naama thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Naama controlling from side mount. Naama scores with punches from side control.

Naama throws a strike aimed at the side of Durden's head but Durden avoids it well. Durden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Naama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Durden's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Naama throws an elbow but Durden slips to the side and avoids it well. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Naama shoots in and drives through. Durden sprawls well. Durden moves into the clinch successfully.

Durden regains full guard. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durden is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Naama clinches with his opponent.
Durden drags the fight down to the ground.

Durden is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Naama pulls his head out easily. Naama is trying for a kimura here. Durden looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Naama wins by kimura!
