Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crabby Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richmond Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Crabby Iron! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Richmond Finch! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iron swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Iron seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Iron throws a looping overhand right but Finch ducks down to avoid it. Finch has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice defenses there by Iron. Iron takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Iron is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Finch. Iron throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Finch sees it coming and avoids it easily. Iron throws a predictable looking body shot
and Finch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Iron comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Finch uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Iron.
Iron clobbers Finch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Finch throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nice body kick there by Finch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Finch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Iron was well out of range. Poor timing from Finch. Finch closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Finch cracks Iron with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Iron misses with a body shot.
Iron ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Good exchange - Finch coming out on top. Finch takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A slow jab from Finch misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finch on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Iron lands a right hook to the body.
Iron dips to his left and cracks Finch with an uppercut! Iron misses with a leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Iron.
Iron with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Finch misses with a body kick. Iron misses with a straight right. Nice defenses there by Iron. Finch throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Iron on the side of the head. Finch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. This has been an exciting period of action! Iron loads up on a big right hand but Finch slips the punch. Iron moves out of range of the strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Iron. Finch does a little dance to reset his feet. A big right from Finch misses. Finch walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iron throws an off balance right hand
and Iron takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Iron misses with an uppercut. Finch shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Iron lands a lovely overhand right.
Finch is rocked! Iron pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Iron motions for Finch to come forward. Iron throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. The fighters circle, before Iron throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Finch's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Iron lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Crabby Iron! Crabby Iron retains his lightweight title! A less than humble Crabby Iron misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. In defeat, Richmond Finch stepped up to the mic, saying 'I guess I'll be drowning my sorrows instead of celebrating at tonight's after party. '.
